Kevin Chan
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Chan has nearly 20 years in banking and management for ultra-high net worth and family-office clients. He has been Chief Executive Officer since November 2012, setting the direction of the Resin Essex Group. Before that, Mr. Chan held a senior role at HSBC Broking Services (Asia) Limited from 2006 to 2012. Mr. Chan is the co-founder and committee member of Family Office Association Hong Kong (FOAHK). He is also the Chairman of Supervisory Board of the Algo Challenge Association (ACA).
Jason Lau
Executive Director
Mr. Lau has long asset-management experience and became Executive Director in November 2012. As the firm’s head executive he oversees investment management; he also reviews the overall client portfolios and business performance. Prior to this role, Mr. Lau was Assistant Vice President of HSBC Broking Services (Asia) Limited from 2005 to 2012. Mr. Lau is currently an SFC licensed Responsible Officer.
David Wong
Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Wong has substantial experience in investment and asset management. As the top investment decision-maker and head of research, he runs the firm’s portfolio and sales-related work, and implementing investment strategies to optimize business performance. From 2008 to 2012, Mr. Wong served as a senior account manager of HSBC Broking Services (Asia) Limited and was mainly active in the futures and options market. Mr. Wong received a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from the University of Hong Kong in 2008 and is currently an SFC licensed Responsible Officer.
Daniel Ho
CMO and co-chair of alternative investments
Mr. Ho has more than 15 years in private wealth. He was Senior Vice President at Everbright Sun Hung Kai (EBSHK) Private, handling allocation for high-net-worth clients, with a strong record in bonds and FX, and helped clients into private equity such as Tencent Music. He previously worked at Bank of China (Hong Kong) and Deloitte. Since 2018 he has been CMO and co-chair of alternative investments, overseeing more than US$1 billion and Greater China coverage.
Lo Ka Fai
Managing Director
Mr. Lo has worked in asset management and insurance since 2005. He is Managing Director of the Resin Essex Group; before that he held a senior post at a listed asset management company in Hong Kong.
Victor Cheng, CFA
Director of Portfolio Management
Mr. Cheng founded the AI stock-selection system and is director of portfolio management. He runs the Julius Baer ResinGo AI Dynamic Equity Portfolio, with more than 10 years of Asia investing at leading banks and global asset managers. He founded AlgoPulse Limited to provide AI investment advice and automated asset management for institutions.
Grace Hsu
Founder of H&W Partners | Sovereign Executive Solutions | Sovereign Executive Club.
Ms Hsu works closely with family offices and financial houses worldwide. She has strong ties to family offices in Greater China, the UK and Europe. Her vision is to build bridges between Eastern and Western family offices and HNW communities. She also mentors students from Oxford, Cambridge and leading Hong Kong universities.
